Facilitator4hire was formed in 1999 by Janet Danforth, CPF. This female-owned firm utilizes an international network of IAF-Certified Professional Facilitators who implement our facilitation models and teach our facilitation-related skills courses.
We operate through a subcontracted staff of six Certified Professional Facilitators, in Atlanta, South Carolina, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Oklahoma City, who serve clients nationwide. Internationally, we have a network of 15 Certified Professional Facilitators with multi-lingual fluency in French, Spanish, Dutch, Slovenian, German, Mandarin Chinese, Norwegian, Czech, Malay, Japanese, Finnish, Bahasa Malaysia, Swedish, and Turkish.
The firm recently relocated its headquarters from Atlanta, GA to the Upstate of South Carolina.
Our two business lines are Meeting Facilitation and Facilitation-related Skills Training. Group process design and meeting facilitation accounts for approximately 50 of our business. The balance of our business is dedicated to facilitation-related training.
Our philosophical approach to both facilitation and training is consensus-based. We believe that collaborative decisions result in broader ownership and ultimately more complete implementation.
Group Process Design and Facilitation
Facilitator4hire specializes in serving the technology and business functions of organizations in many industries. We specialize in facilitating face-to-face meetings, but we also facilitate technology-supported meetings including teleconferences, video and web-based conferences. We can adopt and use your firm’s information-gathering technologies, and supply real-time documentation if needed.
Although many of our facilitation engagements are one- or two-day events which require only one or two days’ planning and design, many of our engagements are some combination of enterprise-wide, multi-session, multi-day, cross-functional, international, multi-facilitator, combined face-to-face and multiple locations.
Facilitation-Related Training
Our six training courses were the first facilitation courses in the US built around the International Association of Facilitators' (IAF) requirements for professional certification. (www.iaf-world.org.) Our instructors are all practicing IAF "Certified Professional Facilitators," which means you get the most practical, results-driven instruction available. Five of our six instructors are also Assessors for the IAF Facilitator Certification Program.
Typically, when companies hire us either to facilitate or train, we end up delivering both facilitation and facilitation-related training over time. Repeat business is the backbone of our company.
